Hello, we’re Forge, North Yorkshire’s new Local Cultural Education Partnership.

We’re here to bring arts and culture organisations together with education, local authorities, sports and health bodies, the third sector, our National Parks and young associates and practitioners working across these fields. Most of all, we’re passionate about working with children and young people to create a cultural landscape where they can thrive. We’re here to make sure that every child and young person aged 0-25 in our region has the chance to experience and enjoy high-quality arts, cultural, and creative learning opportunities.

What we’ll be doing

We believe in the power of arts, culture, and creativity, and we believe that being able to get involved with arts and culture is crucial for young people’s mental health and well-being. We’ll be putting young people at the heart of everything we do, and we’ll be centring their voices in all our decision making.
